What are PRO Solutions?

PRO Solutions are a suite of modules comprised of web-based tools, features and functionality that work together to increase efficiency and ultimately the revenue of your practice. PRO Solutions automate, simplify and streamline an array of functions, tasks and roles across the entire practice. Pick and choose modules that support the needs of your practice as it grows. Is there a long-term commitment?

Absolutely not. We are so confident that our solutions will exceed your expectations, that we only require a month-to-month contract.

What does PRO stand for?

Practice Revenue Optimization. Our mission is to ensure your practice ultimately increases in revenue as a result of using our applications.

Can I add modules as I need them?

Yes, each module can be added as your needs change and grow. Each module works seamlessly with the other products of the application.

Is PRO Solutions specialty specific?

No. PRO Solutions was built to address the needs of most medical specialties by providing a platform that was easily adaptable to each practice. Our current customer base includes internal medicine, family medicine, orthopedics, podiatry, gastroenterology, pain management, cardiology, general surgery, dermatology, neurology, vascular surgery, urology, psychiatry, OBGYN, reproductive endocrinology and physical medicine and rehabilitation and much more. We also provide a customized billing platform for anesthesiology.

Are PRO Solutions CCHIT Certified?

We have applied for CCHIT 2011.

Can I use PRO EMR without PRO Practice Management?

No, because to fulfill on our mission to provide physicians with a holistic solution to optimize their revenue, PRO EMR needs PRO Practice Management to supply the physician with all the information that's important at the point of care. You can, however, start with PRO Practice Management and later adopt the EMR.

What are the hardware and software requirements for PRO Solutions?

You need a PC and a high speed internet connection (DSL minimum) running Internet Explorer. For additional functionality outside of PRO Solutions, we recommend having Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel).

Customers using the PRO Document Management will also need to have a scanner.

PRO Solutions' web-based model allows you to keep start-up costs and total cost of ownership very low; there's no need to invest in complex and expensive hardware and software, nor the resources to operate, support and maintain it.

Does PRO Solutions only work on Internet Explorer?

Yes, currently it's only available on Internet Explorer however development plans are underway to include other web browsers.

Who does the data back up?

We do! Your information is safe and stored in a secured environment.

How is the pricing structured?

Each module comes with a monthly subscription fee per provider. Providers can be added or removed at any time. You can have unlimited users and providers added to the system.

What is the price for PRO Solutions?

Our solution begins at $260 per month per provider. This gives you access to a robust online scheduler and billing application with a proprietary clearinghouse, robust reporting using Business Intelligence tools, electronic superbills, recalls, collections, integrated transcription service with 24 hour guarantee return on your transcriptions, unlimited users, unlimited support, free online training with a live instructor and free product enhancements.

How do I use PRO Solutions?

PRO Solutions are web-based modules accessed online through a secure web server. The "hub" of PRO Solutions begins with PRO Practice Management. As you subscribe to other modules, access to those features becomes available.

Can you import data into MD Synergy?

Yes. Included with your setup are patient demographics import, fee schedule import and your superbill/encounter form design. Provide us the information in either a Comma-Separated Value (CSV) or Microsoft Excel (XLS) file for data imports and for you superbill/encounter forms in Microsoft Word.

Can I have multiple tax ID's in one database? We are a group practice but bill under separate Tax ID's. We don't want to enter patient demographics and other information multiple times.

Yes, PRO Practice Management allows you to setup multiple tax ID's in one database. That means you can share patient demographics yet bill separately based on the tax ID.

How long does it take to setup PRO Practice Management? I'm eager to setup a billing and scheduling system that will improve practice revenue.

Do you have a few hours? That's right PRO Practice Management can be setup within a few hours . . . about the time for you to step away for lunch.

Medicare and other payers are mandating that we begin billing electronically. Can you help me with this process?

Absolutely! As part of the setup for PRO Practice Management, we'll enroll you with your respective payers for electronic claims and ERA's (Electronic Remittance Advice).

Can I control the areas of the system that my user's access information? How do I control when and where they can access the system if this solution is web based?

With PRO Solutions you're in the driver's seat controlling all areas of your practice. Administrators have the ability to create custom security groups, manage when and where your users access the database and establish preferences to personalize the solution for your practice.

What kind of ongoing training is available for my staff and/or physicians?

MD Synergy hosts regular online training classes with a live instructor at no additional cost. Classes are geared towards staff and physicians, exploring the topics to maximize their use of PRO Solutions. We also provide you with detailed online product tutorials to refresh you memory or to support new comers to your practice.

What type of support is included with your products?

Phone and e-mail support are available from 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. PST. You can also access support from within PRO Practice Management.
